Welcome to the official website of Chicago Chapter NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). NATS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing and maintaining the highest possible standards of ethical principles and practices in the profession of teaching, singing, and vocal art. We are happy to announce our upcoming season of events which will benefit our teachers and our students expand their knowledge and skills. Come join us!
Upcoming Events:
- May 29-31, 2009 Joint event with Classical Singer Magazine
- November 6-7, 2009 Regional Student Auditions at Augustana College. For more information email Sarah Holman: sarahholman@sbcglobal.net
- Chicago Chapter NATS 2009-2010 events will include our annual classical competition and a musical theater competition. Dates, places and times for these competitions plus our workshops will be announced soon!
Chicago NATS is participating in the Classical Singer Magazine Convention this May! Four classes will be taught by NATS members for their protrack. Classical Singer is offering a discount to ALL NATS members to the convention.
The discount codes and prices are:
NATS09NS - NATS members receive $100 off the base price, plus a 4-month trial subscription to Classical Singer magazine. (final price will be $295)
NATS09S - NATS members who are also Classical Singer magazine subscribers receive $130 off the base price.
