Master Class with Jennifer Larmore. Jennifer Larmore is a highly
acclaimed mezzo-soprano who has performed in prestigious opera houses

Dr. Pam Phillips will discuss how resonance changes in a music
theatre voice, what the position of the larynx is while singing, healthy
beginning and advanced belt exercises and songs. She will demonstrate
these methods working with the speaking voice and the singing voice. A
question and answer session will conclude this workshop.

Audition Guidelines
It is the responsibility of all teachers and students to familiarize
themselves with audition guidelines.
Registration
Registration for the 2007 CCNATS Student Auditions is now
closed. All registered students will be contacted via email with their
registration time and accompanist information. CCNATS participating
teachers will receive information for all divisions via email. Please
direct any questions to the audition or schedule chair (see above)."
Purpose
Each year the Chicago Chapter of NATS hosts Student Auditions to provide
an opportunity for singers to perform and receive written feedback about
their performance. This annual event also provides a chance for
Chicago-area singers to meet and hear each other sing, allows for NATS
teachers get to know their colleagues better, and gives everyone the
chance to hear both standard and new repertoire.

open to members of CCNATS and CSTG. Dinner will follow the workshop at a
